Cannes Information

Nice International airport is the nearest airport to Cannes. It's 7 km away from the city and it takes 30 minutes to get there by car. Buses are available every 30 minutes and the final stop is in Gare Routière, Place de l'Hôtel de Ville and they go from 08:00 to 20:00. There is an interregional and regional train service that operates daily between Cannes and Paris, Barcelona, Milan and Genoa. Taxi telephone number is: +33 4 9299 2727, and you can take one across the city. At the end of May during the Cannes Film Festival, transportation services may be more crowded than the rest of the year, and the same occurs with hotels, restaurants and shops.

Cannes comes alive at nights, so if you like Casinos and placing the odd bet, you can go to Casino Croisette at the Palais des Festivals, 1 jetée Albert-Edouard, Tel. 04-92-98-78-00; Palm Beach Casino at Pointe de la Croisette; and Casino des Princes on boulevard de la Croisette. The Boulevard de la Croisette is a mass of cafés and bars, so if you want to drink something, they are open until early morning.
