Carnavalet Museum

Starting by an incredible Luis XIV sculpture on display there is no doubt this Museum will take your breath away. The museum consists of two main areas: The hôtels Carnavalet and the Peletier de Saint-Fargeau.
Joining both mansions by a gallery that serves as a connection room, the Carnavalet houses show the evolution (from the beginning until now) of one of the most important and visited cities in the world: Paris.
This Museum contains important and emblematic archeological and artistic collections that date from pre-historical times, Gallo-Roman times, medieval times, French Revolution times, and Republic times all the way to the present.
