Les Bravade des Espagnols
Les Bravade des Espagnols is an important celebration that commemorates the victory of the Tropez Army, led by nobleman, over the Spaniards. It took place in 1637 and now it is both a military and religious celebration.
Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez
This event first took place in 1981, when two yachts competed against each other out of fun and the race finished in Club 55 where a Cup was presented to the winner. From that year on the race has been held for a week, before the end of September and the start of October.
Participants are experienced sailors that sail different types of boats and it is a requirement to take two coastal courses.
