Maison de Papillons
In English: House of butterflies, it is a beautiful and exotic place where over 4 500 of butterfly species are kept. This house has a museum status and it is under the supervision of Dany Lartigue, a famous local artist. You can do your souvenir shopping there, since souvenirs and jewelry have a butterfly motif. You need to book a tour in advance.
Musée de la Marine et de l'Histoire Locale
Inside the Citadel a very interesting and perhaps the major museum in Saint-Tropez can be found. Most of the exhibition deals with navy history on the French Riviera. Check for opening and closing times since they change depending on the season.
