Chapelle de la Miséricorde

The Chapelle de la Miséricorde is of baroque design and is one of the ten most beautiful baroque monuments in the world, with frescoes, gilt inlay, lavish chandeliers and a magnificent Bréa altarpiece.

Cathédrale de Ste-Réparate

This is located at the north part of the market. It is a 17th century Cathedral and is an excellent example of the baroque style, which flourished in Nice during this century. It is named after the patron saint of Nice.

Palais Lascaris

This palace was built in the 17th century and was restored in 1963 when it was then transformed into a museum. This building has a monumental staircase decorated with frescos and luxuriously decorated living rooms.

Promenade des Anglais

This is the best area in Nice, with the most elegant hotels, bars, cafés and restaurants. It has a splendid view and is surrounded by many palm trees.

Musée des Beaux Arts Jules Chéret

There is a majestic collection of works of art in this Museum. Paintings and sculptures from the 19th and 20th centuries are displayed here including works by Monet, Boudin, Guillaumin and Sisley.
